Cuddly toys help the small child to become quickly independent!
The psychological phenomenon of "transitional objects" says, that it is easier for a Baby to begin a distance to its mother, when a cuddly toy is on Baby´s side.
The child won´t feel so alone in the mother´s absence, it will be able to manage the seperation from her more easily and feel safe and secure because of its "cuddly toy".
